Kim joined Block Real Estate Services, LLC (then Block & Company, Inc Realtors) in 2008 as vice president in charge of retail leasing, bringing with her over 14 years of commercial real estate experience.
During her career, Kim has leased retail space in existing shopping centers and shopping centers under development throughout Kansas City and its surrounding areas. She has been responsible for negotiating all aspects of lease and sales transactions. Her goals include increasing the value and income for each retail property for which she is responsible.
Having received her real estate license in both Missouri and Kansas in 1994, she owes her start in the real estate industry to Dan Sight, CCIM of Sight Commercial Realty where she worked for over eight years assisting with all aspects of commercial real estate. The last five years she spent with Copaken White & Blitt where she earned the honor of Associate of the Year in 2003.
Kim earned her CLS designation through the International Council of Shopping
Centers (ICSC) in September, 2006. She presently serves as the MO/KS State Next Generation Chair for ICSC and is an active member of the organization.
Kim worked her way through college as an assistant at a local law firm and later as the manager of a local restaurant. She received an Associates Degree in Applied Sciences with an emphasis in Accounting from the Metropolitan Community Colleges and continued her education in Business Management at Emporia State University.
